Sofia is in top 3 of Europe in IT startups

Sofia is in the top 3 of Europe in startups in the IT sector, reaching the current 8 percent in production volume, up from 3.8 percent in 2015.

The number of Sofia residents employed in this sphere goes up every year, marking a 50 percent rise since 2015, said Sofia Mayor Yordanka Fandukova at a press conference on the upcoming EU Digital and Innovation Week (25-29 June, 2018) and the European Digital Assembly, also to be hosted by Sofia.
