The Department of Defense has transferred the entire amount of 1.2 billion USD under international government contracts for the purchase of eight F-16 Block 70 aircraft and related equipment and weapons. With this step, the Bulgarian side fulfilled its commitment under the contracts concluded under a project for the acquisition of a new type of combat aircraft for the Bulgarian Air Force.
