In case of exceptional circumstances, the budget deficit may exceed the threshold set at 3% of the GDP,a draft of Bulgaria’s Ministry of Finance reads, investor.bg informs. According to the proposal, the expenditures made with EU financing, including the national co-financing, should not be included in the budget deficit. The proposal also reads that unspent funds can be used to implement other priority policies.
