The new school year has started in the whole country in compliance with the anti-epidemic measures. A total of 2,357 schools welcomed over 706,000 students. Nearly 59,000 of them are first-graders.
In his welcoming speech to the students, teachers and parents, the Minister of Education Prof. Nikolay Denkov wished them a successful start and full attendance throughout the school year. "We welcome it more experienced, prepared and responsible; more knowledgeable and capable, and therefore more confident. I believe we can do it together," the minister said.
