Eric Mamer, chief spokesman for the European Commission stated that the EC had begun the assessment of Bulgaria’s Recovery and Resilience Plan. The document was submitted to the EC on 15 October. Eric Mamer did not undertake to say whether the assessment could be completed by the end of the year or whether it will continue during next year.
