Prime Minister Kiril Petkov made public the idea of setting up a “Stambolov” fund to help Bulgarians, who have graduated from the world’s most prestigious universities, return to Bulgaria.
“If you are accepted to one of the top 20 universities in the world, and then you return to work in your country, the state will cover the cost of your education,” PM Petkov said during a meeting with pupils from the Dora Gabe Bulgarian Sunday school in Munich.
