MEP Angel Dzhambazki launched indefinite protests including sudden traffic blockades to warn the Bulgarian government that VMRO does not back down over the Framework Position and the parliamentary declaration on North Macedonia’s EU membership.
VMRO accuses Premier Petkov of “holding semi-secret meetings with the EU Commissioner for Neighborhood and Enlargement Olivér Várhelyi, meanwhile claiming that Bulgaria has not pledged a date for lifting the veto on the start of the EU-North Macedonia accession negotiations”.
