After the convincing victory against Timofey Skatov (Kazakhstan) at the start of his 13^th participation at Roland Garros tournament in Paris, Bulgaria’s most successful tennis player Grigor Dimitrov gave a special interview for the BNR’s envoy Lyubomir Todorov. "It was a good match. I didn't want to expect too much from myself because I only trained one day on the courts here... I started well, a nice second set. I was more solid in the third set and didn't want to give my opponent a chance", Grigor Dimitrov said after the match.

The Bulgarian tennis player said that he may play at Davis Cup against Kazakhstan in Sofia. "The coming months will be interesting. I have to think about some things", said Dimitrov who is ranked as world No 29. In an interview for a Finnish news agency, Grigor Dimitrov praised his next opponent Emil Ruusuvuori. According to Dimitrov, the Finnish tennis player has developed a lot recently and is solid on clay.
