The draft budget for 2023 is ready, Minister of Finance Assen Vassilev said. The bill is due to be published for public consultation and to enter parliament in early July.
Within the framework of the Sofia Economic Forum IV, Vassilev pointed out that the budget includes measures for a deficit of 3% without affecting social policy and taxes, but with higher tax collection envisaged. Minister Vassilev expects that "this year the wage rise will be twice the rate of inflation".
