62 persons arrested in operation against drug distribution

A large-scale police operation against drug distribution is being conducted throughout the country under the leadership of the prosecutor's office.

62 persons have been detained for crimes related to the production, distribution and trafficking of narcotic substances. Large quantities of different types of drugs were seized, a drug greenhouse was found in Pernik.

The prosecutor's office specifies that inspections were carried out in school districts, drinking and entertainment establishments.

Nearly 400 drug dens were inspected.
