Orange code alert in Bulgaria for intense rainfall and strong winds on Saturday

In 13 districts of the western half of Bulgaria, the weather warning for Saturday is for significant rainfall and thunder.

In the regions of Veliko Tarnovo, Gabrovo, Stara Zagora and Kardzhali - for a strong gusty southerly wind and significant rainfall. I

In the remaining 11 areas of Eastern Bulgaria there is a warning for strong southerly wind.

There is a risk of flooding in the western half of the country.
