We welcome the progress achieved by Bulgaria on its way towards adopting the euro and encourage the continued efforts towards meeting all the convergence criteria, reads a statement issued after the two-day Euro Summit in Brussels.
In June, Bulgaria is expecting a compliance assessment of whether the country meets the criteria for the adoption of the euro.
