Weather forecast: Daytime highs will reach 30°C on Saturday

It will be mostly cloudy on Saturday, with a chance of rain in Eastern Bulgaria, the Upper Thracian Plain and the mountains. It will stop raining in the afternoon hours and clouds will begin to break up. There will be moderate to strong easterly and northeasterly winds. Daytime highs will range from 25°C to 30°C, for Sofia- around 26°C.

There will be significant cloudiness over the mountains with a chance of brief showers and thunderstorms in many places. There will be more significant precipitation in the massifs in Western Bulgaria. There will be moderate to strong winds from the east and the northeast, on higher ground from the northwest. Maximum temperature at an altitude of 1,200 meters will reach 19°C, at 2,000 meters- around 14°C.

There will be significant cloudiness over the Black Sea coast with rain and thunder in the afternoon hours. There will be moderate to strong northeasterly wind. Daytime highs will be between 24°C and 26°C. The seawater temperature is 26°C-27°C. Sea state 3.
