Central Election Commission announces final distribution of seats in the 51st National Assembly

8 parties and coalitions enter the National Assembly of Bulgaria

The Central Election Commission has announced the final distribution of seats in the 51st National Assembly after the early election for parliament held in Bulgaria on 27 October.

Eight parties enter parliament, Kamelia Neykova, chair of the Central Election Commission announced, or one more than the political formations represented in the 50th National Assembly, which was elected in June this year but failed to form a government. Velichie fails to clear the 4% electoral threshold.

Here is the number of seats each of the parties and coalitions represented in parliament will have:

  • GERB-SDS- 69,
  • We Continue the Change - Democratic Bulgaria coalition (PP-DB) -37,
  • Vazrazhdane - 35,
  • Movement for Rights and Freedoms-New Beginning - 30,
  • Bulgarian Socialist Party- United Left – 20,
  • Alliance for Rights and Freedoms – 19,
  • There Is Such a People (ITN) –18
  • MECH – 12
