Faculty of Physics of Sofia University will offer lectures, demonstrations and fun experiments for everyone

The Faculty of Physics of Sofia University Saint Kliment Ohridski will be hosting a number of events for the first time. It will open its laboratories for a special "Autumn Day" for children and adults inspired by science to spend several interesting and fruitful hours.


Visitors will see that physics takes us the deepest and farthest into human knowledge, that it can be fascinating and interesting, that it is a prestigious specialty with numerous opportunities for realization in Bulgaria and around the world, promise the physicists from Alma Mater. Those who are curious about this field of science will be introduced to some of the latest discoveries in the field in a language they can understand, as well as find out what tasks the Bulgarian teams from the Faculty of Physics are working on from the frontline of science.


This year, the Faculty of Physics celebrates 135 years since the beginning of teaching the specialty at Sofia University.
