Road traffic to Romania and Turkey is intense

Traffic at the border crossings with Romania and Turkey is intense, the Bulgarian Border Police reported. Traffic with Romania is intense at Kardam border crossing at the exit for trucks. 

Due to major repairs to the Bulgarian section of the Danube Bridge near Ruse, there is a temporary organization of traffic in one lane and drivers are recommended to head to the "Silistra", "Kardam", "Durankulak", "Kainardzha" and "Krushari" crossings. The last two crossings are open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and trucks are not allowed through them. 

Traffic at Kapitan Andreevo norder crossing to Turkey is very intense. Temporarily due to repairs, traffic through the Malko Tarnovo border crossing is carried out in one lane. 

Due to heavy snowfall at Gueshevo border crossing in the morning, traffic to North Macedonia was stopped. 

Traffic is normal on the other crossings with Greece, Serbia and North Macedonia.
