April Fools’ Day will be marked with a rich festive program at the Museum of Humor and Satire in Gabrovo. The institution is celebrating 53 years since its founding today and, as tradition dictates, will showcase the town's generosity with free events for children and adults. The House of Humor and Satire in Gabrovo was opened on April 1, 1972. The main force behind its creation was Stefan Fartunov (1926-2010), who was also the first director of the cultural institution. Various festivals and wordplay meetings are organized at the museum, and humorous collections are published. An experimental variety theater also operates there.
