"In recent years, the collective body of the DPS has had serious problems - as a collective way of life, as a way of making decisions, as a relationship with living people, living voters, with the relevant serious problems and the search for their solutions (today the party is divided in two. One part - the DPS around Delyan Peevski, has been recognized by the Supreme Administrative Court as the legitimate DPS. As a result, the part of the DPS around Ahmed Dogan was forced to change its name to the "Alliance for Rights and Freedoms" - ed. note).

"When visiting a certain region DPS has become accustomed to meeting only with the elite - mayors, etc., which is a big mistake". This was what the honorary chairman of the party, Ahmed Dogan said on Saturday at a meeting with the youth organization of the Alliance for Rights and Freedoms. This is clear from a video of the meeting, published today on social networks. Dogan told the youth that he sees in their structure an opportunity for renewal of the party, both in the leadership and in personnel policy, public life, social networks, and the media. According to him, the strength of the party was in the live connection with the voters, and it is currently stalling. What the instrument for overcoming this crisis will be is to become clear in the coming days or weeks, Dogan said.
