The upcoming exhibition of Bulgarian artist George Papazoff in Zagreb on 5 May 2025 was the focus of a meeting at the Bulgarian Embassy in the Croatian capital.

The discussion brought together Diana Glasnova, Secretary General of the Croatian-Bulgarian Society and Editor-in-Chief of the bilingual magazine Rodna Rech, Ambassador Iva Kruleva and Lada Bošnjak Velagić, Deputy Director of the National Museum of Modern Art in Zagreb. At the height of his career, from the mid-1920s to the late 1930s, Georges Papazoff was considered one of the most important modernists in Europe.
The meeting also explored the possibility of organizing an exhibition in Zagreb of works by Bulgarian painters and sculptors whose works are part of the museum's collection, as well as a reciprocal exhibition of Croatian artists and sculptors in Bulgaria.
