Foreign Minister Georg Georgiev has left for Washington, D.C., where he will participate in the Munich Leaders Meeting (May 5-7, 2025), the Foreign Ministry said on Facebook. The forum is organised by the Munich Security Conference.
The main topics on the agenda of the meeting will be security and defence, energy security, economy and trade, technology and innovation. According to the Bulgarian Foreign Ministry, the country's message to the meeting will be clear: "Open dialogue and a stable transatlantic partnership are crucial for addressing the current global challenges".
