The National Assembly rejected four draft decisions to lift the immunity of four MPs of Vazrazhdane at the request of Acting Prosecutor General Borislav Sarafov, reported BTA. On February 22, Slavcho Krumov, Ivaylo Chorbov, Yordan Todorov and Nikola Dimitrov took part in the act of vandalism against the House of Europe in Sofia.

The proposal was made by MP Hamid Hamid from the parliamentary group of DPS – New Beginning. After the vote, he addressed his colleagues from GERB: "You are afraid of the law - until these consents are given, this lawlessness in the streets, in the National Assembly, will continue. Vazrazhdane will behave like aborigines - you will watch it every day".

National Assembly Speaker Natalia Kiselova gave Hamid Hamid a verbal warning over the use of the word "aborigines". The MP requested that the warning be revoked, arguing that the term means natives.
