Young Bulgarian actor Borislav Paunov has won the Best Actor award at the PROMA Film Festival in Romania for his role in Chocolate, directed by Orlin Milchev, the Bulgarian News Agency (BTA) reported.
The black-and-white short film tells the story of young Bobby, who lives with his large family in a Roma neighbourhood and dreams of a piece of delicious chocolate. Frustrated by his unlucky fate, he sets out into the big city in search of justice and chocolate.
Chocolate also took home the festival’s grand prize.

The PROMA Film Festival took place from 5 to 7 September in Brașov and featured fifteen short films from eight countries. Audiences enjoyed screenings of the official competition selections, as well as special presentations of films that have been acclaimed at international film festivals.
