Vasilev won by 7-6 (5), 6-4 in two hours of play, ensuring his ultimate success with a total of 3-2 wins. The third victory went to Alexander Donski and Petr Nesterov in the doubles against Harri Heliovaara and Otto Virtanen by 6-4, 1-6 and 7-6. Before that Vasilev won vs. Otto Virtanen in 2 sets.
