The International Exhibition "Cultural Tourism" will bring together participants from Bulgaria and abroad from October 8 to 10 in Veliko Tarnovo, BTA reports. The event, now being held for the 20th time, combines two key aspects of life in the historic capital – tourism and culture.
An integral part of the exhibition will be the ''Trapezitsa Fest'', featuring Bulgarian producers. As part of the festival, the LocalBites culinary competition will be held, showcasing the regional flavors of Bulgaria. A series of conferences will also take place. The first one is titled "Intangible Cultural Heritage – The Unadulterated Charm of Destinations''.
This year’s charitable cause is dedicated to supporting the National High School of Applied Arts ''Tryavna School'', which suffered damage in a fire. Representatives of the school will give demonstrations in woodcarving and icon painting, and selected works will showcase the school’s three specialties: Artistic Wood Carving, Interior Design and Iconography.
