The Bulgarian crew of the yacht "Ivana & Alex" won the title in the IRC2 division at the Bonifacio IRC European Championship 2025 in Corsica, held between October 7 and 12. This is Bulgaria’s first European title and a historic achievement for national sailing, reported gong.bg.

The Bonifacio IRC European Championship 2025 featured 31 teams from 13 countries across Europe and the Americas. The greatest challenge for all crews was the legendary “Tour de Corse”, a 24-hour race covering approximately 250 nautical miles. Competitors faced extremely variable weather conditions. After 39 hours and 33 minutes of sailing, the Bulgarian crew crossed the finish line, securing the title in the IRC2 division.
