GERB-SDS and DPS-New Beginning agree on full cabinet mandate

At a meeting in parliament in the presence of the party leaderships, the GERB-SDS coalition and the DPS-New Beginning party agreed on a full mandate to govern and fulfil the commitments for Bulgaria’s Euro-Atlantic orientation. This was announced by the press centers of GERB and DPS-New Beginning. This happened before the resumption of the work of the National Assembly, after the MPs had no meetings for a week due to lack of a quorum.

DPS-New Beginning will continue to support the mandate holder and the partners in the government for a full mandate of the cabinet. It has been decided not to change the form of support. DPS-New Beginning refuses to participate in the executive branch. “The parties confirmed the commitment to comply with the agreed legislative and management program in the interest of the citizens and the state,” reads the position.
