Bulgaria has a new European champion. Presiyan Genov followed in the footsteps of the great names in Bulgarian boxing history, winning the title in the 90+ kg category. Under the guidance of boxing legends Petar Lesov and Mihail Takov, the young talent triumphed at the European U15 Boxing Championship in Budva, Montenegro.
The Bulgarian boxer defeated Italian Damiano Rizzo in the final clash in Budva, showcasing skill and class to secure the gold medal, reports BTA. Bulgaria finished the championship in Montenegro with a total of four medals. In addition to Presiyan’s title, the country earned three bronze medals: Ana Dobreva (40 kg), Nikalas Nikolov (66 kg), and Valeri Todorov (80 kg).
