Behind Sofia’s National Library St. Cyril and St. Methodius, Doctor’s Garden has transformed into a delightfully spooky urban playground. This year, the Halloween celebrations run until 2 November, featuring a bustling market, street food stalls, and a stage for live performances. Organisers promise a true feast for the imagination.

During the day, visitors can explore themed stands by Bulgarian artists and designers, or join pumpkin-decorating workshops. By night, the garden comes alive with light shows and competitions for the best costume.
Professional makeup artists transform attendees into characters from films and legends, while street performers and musicians entertain on a dedicated stage. A gastronomic area offers seasonal treats, including pumpkin- and caramel-themed cocktails. Entrance is free, and the atmosphere is more fun than frightening.

One of the few city events that brings together design, art, music, and theatre outdoors, the festival shines a spotlight on young creatives and their imaginative talents.
