Bulgaria’s participation in this year’s World Travel Market (WTM) in London, November 4-6, is bold and ambitious.
The national pavilion, organized by the Ministry of Tourism, covers a record area of 399 sq. m. and is located in a key position in Europe hall of ExCeL London. Under the now traditional slogan of Bulgaria – a Discovery to Share, this country aims to reaffirm its positions as a year-round, safe and diverse tourist destination on the British market. The participants in Bulgaria’s presentation include Plovdiv municipality with the Episcopal basilica of the ancient Philippopolis, the ancient forum and the unique artefacts that have been unearthed. Plovdiv municipality is popularizing an updated wine map of the region and is advertising the area targeting high-paying British tourists with an interest in culture tours and wine tourism.
