A conference entitled 'Prospects for the Integration of Refugees and Migrants into the Labour Market' is taking place in Sofia today. The event is organised by the Sofia Municipality as part of a project.

It will bring together key experts, institutions, and workers’ and employers’ organisations — including representatives from the Employment Agency, Bulgaria's two largest trade unions CITUB and KT “Podkrepa”, the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and the Association of Industrial Capital in Bulgaria — to discuss the legal framework, opportunities, and challenges related to the social and economic inclusion of refugees and migrants in Bulgaria’s labour market.
