Sunny weather is expected at the end of the workweek

On Friday morning, fog or low clouds are expected in many lowlands, basins and around water bodies. It will be mostly sunny during the day. In the lower valleys of the Tundzha and Maritsa rivers, fog will persist until around noon, while in the Danubian Plain it will remain foggy for most of the day. The lowest temperatures will range between 1°C and 6°C, slightly lower in the basins of southwestern Bulgaria. Maximum temperatures will be between 13°C and 18°C, lower in areas with persistent fog. In Sofia, the minimum temperature will be around 0°C, and the maximum around 16°C.

It will be sunny in the mountains. There will be light to moderate westerly and northwesterly winds. Maximum temperatures at an altitude of 1,200 m will be around 14°C, at 2,000 m around 7°C.

Fog and low clouds are expected along the Black Sea coast in the morning. During the day, it will be sunny with light winds. Daytime highs will range from 14°C to 16°C, slightly lower than the sea water temperature. Sea state 1–2 on the Beaufort scale.
