''Without You'' – the first collaborative song by Horizont band and Mariana Popova

The rock musicians from Horizont band and the singer Mariana Popova have recorded a joint song – ''Without You''.

''We’ve known Mariana since the time when she sang in a very solid band (Kokomania). Even back then she was our favorite because of the timbre she has in her voice, her stage presence, her energy… There’s a lot of rock ’n’ roll in her'', says Horizont’s vocalist Valeri Slavchev.

The moment for a collaboration has arrived, and although the song is a ballad, Mariana brings into it exactly that rock-and-roll vibe and emotion. Mariana Popova herself admits that rock ’n’ roll has always been a part of her essence.

''The truth is that there is much more rock ’n’ roll in Mariana Popova than pop music. I used to sing a lot of rock with Kokomania. In fact, there were far fewer pop songs in our repertoire than rock. And I really love rock music! I am rock ’n’ roll first, everything else comes after”, Mariana Popova said.

The song ''Without You'' has already received recognition in a competition — it won first prize at the latest edition of the International Pop and Rock Music Festival Sofia.
