In the dynamic, risk-filled and conflict-ridden global agenda, it is increasingly difficult to outline the future. This was what President Rumen Radev said at the Green Transition Forum 5.0, which is being held in Sofia, the presidential press service has reported.
The existing mechanisms for economic growth on the Old Continent seem to be falling apart. Cheap energy no longer exists. Cheap labor is not guaranteed. Cheap capital with zero interest rates has disappeared, the head of state said. He called on the state to identify sources and areas of growth.
Radev pointed out energy corridors through the country, digital connectivity, processing raw materials into high-value end products, agriculture, transport logistics and the creation of a National Space Center for Observation, Coordination and Management.
