On Thursday minimum temperatures will range between 6 and 11° C., for Sofia around 8° C. During the day the weather will continue cloudy and rainy. The rain will be more significant in Eastern Bulgaria, and in the afternoon – in Central Bulgaria. There will be no rain and the clouds will disperse temporarily over Southwestern Bulgaria. There will be a light Easterly wind, in Eastern Bulgaria the wind will be moderate from the Northeast. Maximum temperatures 10-15° C., for Sofia around 11° C.
Over the Black Sea coast there will be clouds and rain. A yellow alert is in place for dangerous rain for the Southern portion of the Black Sea coastline and the Strandzha coast. Maximum air temperatures 14-16° C., temperature of the sea water 14-18° C., sea state 2-3.
Over the mountains there will be rain, more significant over the Eastern portion of the Balkan Range, and mounts Strandzha and Sakar. Above 1,700-1,800 m. there will be snow. There will be a moderate wind from the East-Southeast, on higher ground the wind will be from the West-Southwest. Maximum temperature at an altitude of 1,200 m. around 8° C., at 2,000 m. around 2° C.
On Friday the weather will continue cloudy and rainy without any significant changes. Visibility will continue limited in some parts of the lowlands and valleys.
